Wood Display Builder & Assembler

Franklin Fixtures is growing, and we’re looking for dependable, detail-oriented people to join our assembly team. In this hands-on role, you’ll help build wood shelving, displays, counters, tables, and other custom pieces used in bookstores, libraries, universities, and specialty retail spaces across the country.

What You’ll Do

• Assemble wood displays, shelving, counters, tables, and components at a workstation

• Follow technical drawings, diagrams, measurements, and work instructions accurately

• Use hand tools and measuring tools, including tape measures

• Complete repeatable assembly tasks with consistency and attention to detail

• Check your work for quality and accuracy

• Work independently and with the team to meet production goals

 

What We’re Looking For

• Ability to read diagrams and follow technical drawings

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

• Comfort using hand tools and measuring accurately

• Ability to work efficiently, stay focused, and follow through on tasks

• Dependable work habits and a team-first attitude

• Practical problem-solving skills

 

Experience in assembly, woodworking, manufacturing, or a related hands-on role is helpful, but we’re willing to train the right person.

 

Physical Requirements

• Regular standing, bending, and reaching

• Ability to lift 40 to 50 lbs as needed

 

Work Environment
This is a manufacturing plant environment. Work is indoors and protected from the elements, but temperatures can still be hot in the summer and cold in the winter.

 

Schedule

• Full-time starting at $15/hr

• Monday-Thursday, 6:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

• Friday Overtime Available
